• About the Windows menu - This menu shows all open SM windows. The active window is checkmarked. Choosing a window brings it to the front and makes it active.
• Full Titles - This option specifies whether to include path or hierarchy information in window titles. For instance, when you drag a folder onto SM and it brings up a table of that folder's files, the title of the window will include the full path of that folder if this option is checked. If unchecked, the title of the window will just be name of the folder. For CheckOut or Project Browser windows, the window title is the name of the project it represents, and that name will contain the full project hierarchy if this option is checked, or just the project name if unchecked.
If you prefer this option to be unchecked, you can always still see the full path of file in a table by mousing down on the icon to the left of the filename (but not in CheckOut or ProjectBrowser windows). Similarly, to see the full project hierarchy of a file, you can mouse down on the SourceServer or SourceSafe icon to the left of the project name.
• Close All Tables - This is a convenient way to close all open table windows. It will leave any other windows (SourceServer/ToolServer Replies and Clipboard) open. Tip: another way to close all table windows is to option-click the close box of a table window.
• Open SourceServer Worksheet - Opens a window which communicates with SourceServer. This window operates identically to an MPW worksheet, meaning you can type in commands to send to SourceServer and use the Enter key to send them. This window also echos all commands Source Manager generates internally and sends to SourceServer as a result of you choosing Source Manager commands. This is automatically opened whenever SourceServer sends back a reply to Source Manager, so you'll generally never need to open it using this command.
